مؤسسة إنكي للدراسات والبحوث تواصل انفتاحها الأكاديمي بزيارة رسمية إلى لندن
ضمن اليوم الأول من الزيارة، قامت مؤسسة إنكي للدراسات والبحوث بزيارة إلى لندن بدعوة رسمية من السفارة العراقية، وذلك في إطار تعزيز التعاون بين المراكز البحثية العراقية والمراكز الأكاديمية الدولية.
استهل الوفد جولته بزيارة المتحف البريطاني، حيث استقبلهم السيد باول كولينس، مسؤول قسم الشرق الأوسط، وتم الاطلاع على القسم الخاص بالحضارة العراقية. بعدها، زار الوفد مركز الشرق الأوسط في جامعة كلية لندن للاقتصاد، حيث دار نقاش حول قضايا التغير المناخي في العراق وعدد من القضايا الأكاديمية الأخرى، بمشاركة البروفيسور مايكل مايسون، الذي استعرض التحديات البيئية التي تواجه العراق.
كما تضمنت الجولة زيارة المكتبة البريطانية، حيث قدّم الدكتور مايكل إيدرمان عرضًا لأبرز الوثائق التاريخية العراقية النادرة، مما أضاف بُعدًا مهمًا لفهم الإرث الثقافي والعلمي للعراق.
وفي ختام فعاليات اليوم الأول، حضر ممثل المؤسسة، الدكتور ذكاء طالب، إلى جانب ممثلي المراكز البحثية الأخرى، مأدبة عشاء أقامها سعادة السفير السيد جعفر الصدر، حيث جرى نقاش معمّق حول قضايا بناء الدولة العراقية وتعزيز التعاون البحثي.
تعد هذه الزيارة خطوة محورية نحو توطيد العلاقات البحثية والثقافية بين العراق والمجتمع الأكاديمي الدولي.
Inky Foundation for Studies and Research Continues Its Academic Engagement with an Official Visit to London
On the first day of the visit, the Inky Foundation for Studies and Research arrived in London at the official invitation of the Iraqi Embassy, aiming to strengthen cooperation between Iraqi research centers and international academic institutions.
The delegation began its tour with a visit to the British Museum, where they were received by Mr. Paul Collins, Head of the Middle East Department, and explored the section dedicated to Iraqi civilization. Following this, the delegation visited the Middle East Centre at the London School of Economics, engaging in discussions on climate change issues in Iraq and other academic topics. Professor Michael Mason participated in the discussion, presenting an overview of the environmental challenges facing Iraq.
The tour also included a visit to the British Library, where Dr. Michael Ederman presented a selection of rare historical Iraqi documents, offering valuable insights into Iraq’s cultural and scientific heritage.
Concluding the first day’s activities, the foundation’s representative, Dr. Dhikra Talib, alongside representatives from other research centers, attended a dinner hosted by His Excellency Ambassador Jaafar Al-Sadr. The dinner featured in-depth discussions on state-building in Iraq and enhancing research collaboration.
This visit marks a significant step in strengthening research and cultural ties between Iraq and the international academic community.
