Al-Hakim International Award 2026
The Enki Foundation for Studies and Research invites researchers and specialists, from Iraq and around the world, to participate in the Al-Hakim International Conference and Award in its second edition, 2026, to be held in Baghdad under the patronage of Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim.
The conference is convened in the belief that scientific research is a driving force in shaping the future, unleashing intellectual energies and stimulating academic creativity in a manner befitting Iraq's civilisational heritage and developmental ambition.
This initiative seeks to transform pioneering ideas into practical, real-world projects, empowering creative minds and connecting them with national purpose, and to launch a scientific momentum that makes research a driver of economic and social development.
Submission Requirements
• An original study, unpublished and not previously submitted elsewhere
• Addresses a real-world issue relevant to the Iragi context within one of the four themes
• A clear scientific methodology with practical, applicable recommendations
• Length: 6,000-8,000 words
• Referencing in accordance with APA style (7th edition)
• Submissions accepted in Arabic or English, with an abstract in the other language
• Similarity (plagiarism) index not exceeding 20%

• Paper size: A4; margins: 2.5 cm on all sides
• Arabic font: Simplified Arabic, 14 pt body / 16 pt bold headings
